By Car

There are other parking lots in the area, but they tend to be more expensive.

There are 3 major airports that will easily get you to Valencia. Valencia, Madrid and Alicante:

  1. Valencia Airport (Best option). It’s really close to the city and the studio

Although you can catch a taxi directly to the studio for approximately 20 euro, the Metro is a quick and convenient way to get to Utopian Tattoo Tribe directly from Valencia airport, a single ticket costs approximately 4€.

When leaving the airport follow signs the internal ‘Aeroport’ Metro station. The airport is served the lines: #3 and #5 with both going directly to the station closest to Utopian Tattoo Tribe. Take either #3 or #5 until the metro stop ‘Xátiva’ (roughly a 20 minute journey), we are located less than 5 minutes walk from Xátiva Metro.

In the following link the map shows the location of Xátiva, Bailen and Utopian Tattoo Tribe: Map of Locations

For detailed timetables between Metro destinations please see this link: Metro Valencia

  1. Madrid Airport (Barajas) (2nd best option). However, if your hometown’s airport does not offer flights directly to Valencia Airport, then it is also possible (and often cheaper) to fly to Madrid. A plane to Madrid combined with the AVE train would be the second best choice if flights to Valencia are not convenient or available.

Then it’s as easy as:

A. Arrive at Madrid Airport
B. Take a taxi to “Atocha Train Station” By taxi it will be 15minutes and cost about 25euros.

How-ever if you don’t want to take a taxi, you can use the Train: Madrid Airport Train or the Metro: Madrid Airport Metro

C. Take the AVE (a high-speed rail-service) from Madrid to Valencia. The AVE (which means bird in English) with speeds of up to 310 km/h (193 mph) will take only 1hour and 30min to go from Madrid to Valencia.

Be aware that if you buy the AVE tickets in advance, they are often less than half price. You can buy you them at: Renfe
D. The train station is pretty close to the studio, walking is an option if you’ve got GPS on the phone. If not, you can take a taxi for 6 euros

Another alternative is using Bla-Bla Car. It’s very popular in Spain. Bla-Bla Car is a website that puts together people to share a car for going from A to B. It’s so popular you can even specify if you want to travel in a car with people who speak a lot (i.e have a lot of Bla) or a little… This is the website: Bla bla car

  1. Alicante Airport (3rd best option).: Alicante is only 2 hours from Valencia by car.
  • Renting a car would be a very comfortable idea.
  • You can also take a Bus or taxi to Alicante city train station. There is a C-6 bus which departs from Alicante Airport every 20 minutes, the journey time is 40 minutes and the fare is €3.85. The bus does a circuit of the city and the station is almost it’s final stop. More information can be found here:Alicante Airport Bus
  • Then take a train from Alicante to Valencia: Alicante train
